Sources Sought for Potential Procurement of Spare Parts for the C-130 Aircraft

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of any commercially available vendors that may be of interest to the United States Coast Guard (USCG). This notice is to assist the USCG in determining the potential sources capable of procuring the items listed below.

Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), certifications, etc. which will allow the USCG to understand your full capabilities. Also, provide evidence of possession of an OEM license to ensure access to the most current OEM data and OEM replacement parts.

Please respond to the following questions: Is your business a large or small business and how many employees? What North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code does your company use for this type of service? Is your business active in SAM.Gov and do you have a CAGE code? Is your business, Woman owned? Veteran owned?? Sole proprietor?

Provide estimate lead time for warranty consideration and routine maintenance? Provide estimate shipping information: will shipping be F.O.B. Destination, or F.O.B. Origin. If shipping is F.O.B. Origin, please provide estimated shipping cost. Do you have other government agencies using the product, and if so which agencies, POCs and contract numbers? Will you be able to provide traceability to the OEM?

Please provide sufficient detail for the Government to determine that the interested party is capable of meeting the requirement stated above. After the review of the responses to this Sources Sought announcement, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the SAM.gov website. Responses to this Sources Sought notice are not adequate responses to any future solicitation announcement.

All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
