THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI).

Sources Sought: Various Spare Parts utilized on the United States Coast Guard (USCG) MH-65 aircraft. This is not a request for quote or proposal. This sources sought is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotes/proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This sources sought notice has been issued to survey the market to identify possible sources for consideration.

This notice is to assist the USCG in determining potential sources. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award.

The USCG, Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Short Range Recovery (SRR) MH-65 Aircraft Division is conducting market research to identify commercially available market sources capable of providing Various Spare Parts with full traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Airbus Helicopters, France (F0210). Vendors are requested to read the RFI in its entirety to ensure information submittals are complete. Attachment 1 is a complete listing of the parts, in excel format, titled: “Various Spare Parts”.

All manufacturing data for this requirement is proprietary to the OEM’s. The USCG does not own, nor can it provide specifications, plans, drawing, or other technical data. Responses should include the following:

Name and address of contractor Cage Code Point of contact including name, title, phone, and email address List of all items that can be provided with full traceability to the OEM State whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business in terms of the NAICS code 336413 GSA Contract information if applicable and other information that provides the Coast Guard with a more accurate picture of the potential marketplace for this requirement.

The NAICS code is 336413 and the small business size standard is 1,250. After the review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the SAM.gov website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not adequate responses to any future announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought synopsis.

Responses to this sources sought synopsis are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Closing date and time for receipt of response is 13 February 2024 at 1:30 PM EST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses should be submitted to Terrie.L.Pickard@uscg.mil.
