Storage for U.S. Coast Guard Float

The United States Coast Guard Base New Orleans is accepting quotes for qualified individuals or firms to provide adequate storage in Orleans Parish for the new U.S. Coast Guard Parade Float. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the Performance Work Statement. The contracted work will require a Contractor with sufficient storage space to accommodate the U.S. Coast Guard Parade Float from 2024-2025 (exact storage dates to be determined by date of contract award). The float dimensions are 47’ in length (accounting for the length of the gooseneck to the Jayhawk’s tail rotor when the Jayhawk is mounted on the float), 10’3” in width, and 13’5” in height.

Note: these dimensions are minimum requirements for the float only. The Contractor shall ensure sufficient space on each side of the float for Coast Guard personnel to navigate around in addition to sufficient space in front to trailer the float as necessary. Storage is to be in accordance with the performance work statement. This will be a firm-fixed priced service order awarded to the lowest bidder. This is set aside 100% for small business.
