USCG Academy LabRAM Odyssey Raman Microscope

The United States Coast Guard, in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source to HORIBA Instruments Inc., 20 Knightsbridge RD, Piscataway, New Jersey 08854-3913 for a LabRAM Odyssey Raman Microscope. This item provides unique characteristics for the USCG Academy Marine Science, Chemical and Environmental Science, and Physics faculty to perform research projects and capstones.

Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their authorization as a value added reseller, capability and past performance. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
