The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard (USCG) Headquarters (CG-912) awarded a sole source, IDIQ contract with The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE BOATING LAW ADMINISTRATORS (NASBLA) with a period of performance from August 22, 2024 to August 21, 2029. The purpose of this acquisition is to support the Coast Guard’s only forensic C-School training program; the Digital Evidence First Responder’s (DEFR), with advanced curriculum, certification and/or competency focusing on GPS forensic acquisitions within the maritime environment.

This purchase was made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. See the attached J&A for details. This sole source is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.”
