This NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE is hereby amended to include the following information to the end of the first paragraph: "This Task Order will be an interim, follow-on Task Order for HSCG23-17-F-APB001." NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is not a request for quote. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored.

Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The United States Coast Guard intends to award a sole source Task Order to American Systems Corporation to provide engineering and technical support services. The duration of this contract will be at least six (6) months, with two (2), three (3) month option periods to provide interim support prior to the award of a five (5) year re-compete of the prior mentioned services.

This Task Order will be made utilizing FAR Part 16.5, Indefinite Delivery Contracts. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
