Laboratory Sterilizer Preventative Maintenance and Curative Repair Services

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70US0926Q70092866 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Laboratory Sterilizer Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services.

Quote Submission Instructions: Offerors shall prepare and submit quotes that clearly demonstrate how they will fulfill all requirements, aspects, and tasks set forth in the Solicitation and Statement of Work. The quote shall describe in detail how the offeror will perform each task, including the proposed approach, methodology, staffing plan, key personnel, schedule, and any resources or processes that will be used to successfully complete the required work.

Offerors shall describe their staffing plan that identifies how they shall ensure sufficient personnel, both in number and qualifications, to perform the work required in the SOW. The quote shall also demonstrate the offeror’s understanding of the requirements and explain how its proposed approach will ensure timely, compliant, and effective performance. A mere statement that the contractor can provide the requested services, without sufficient supporting detail, will not be considered acceptable.

Quotes must be clear, concise, and complete. Failure to submit a quote that adequately addresses the Solicitation requirements may result in the quote being deemed non-responsive and eliminated from further consideration. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions; therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit their best terms in their initial quote.

Offerors shall provide a description of their preventative maintenance and repair service capabilities as described in the SOW for ALL of the following sterilizers: 1. Amsco Lab 240 Small Scientific Laboratory Steam Sterilizer 2. Amsco Century Medium Scientific Laboratory Steam Sterilizer 3. 75KW Electric Steam Generator 4. Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide emergency decontamination and sterilization unit (VHP1000-ED) with related laboratory accessories The technical capability shall not exceed 5 single sided pages.

The font size shall be 10 Times New Roman. Pages in excess of the page limit will be removed and not evaluated. The cover page and table of contents are not included in the final page count.

Question Submission: All questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing via email to the Contracting Specialist at melissa.chabot@usss.dhs.gov and the Contracting Officer Jade Gaston at jade.gaston@usss.dhs.gov no later than 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), August 31, 2026. Responses to questions will be provided via an amendment to the solicitation.

Quote Submission Deadline: Quotes shall be received in writing via email to the Contracting Specialist at melissa.chabot@usss.dhs.gov and the Contracting Officer Jade Gaston at jade.gaston@usss.dhs.gov no later than 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), September 2, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered. **Background checks of the awardee may be conducted prior to issuance of award.
