Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) issues this Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of the DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Technology Transfer and Commercialization Branch (T2C). The Homeland Security Innovation Hub, HSWERX, in partnership with the DHS S&T T2C, will host an Assessment Event (AE) searching for biometric solutions related to screening at U.S. ports of entry.
DHS is looking for validated biometric technologies to integrate into current port of entry infrastructure and seamlessly identify and validate traveler identities without creating bottlenecks or disrupting port operations. Selected respondents to the RFI will be invited to participate in an AE, a one-on-one session with the DHS assessment panel to pitch, demonstrate, and/or discuss their solutions.
