Synopsis - Bio Safety Enclosure Technical Data Package The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) has a requirement for a Bio Safety Enclosure Technical Data Package and Universal Mobile Tester (UMT) in support of Joint Biological Point Detection Systems (JBPDS) and Enhanced Maritime Biological Detectors (EMBD).

NSWC IHD intends to issue a modification under current contract award N0017421D0025 with Chemring Sensors and Electronic Systems, located at 4205 Westinghouse Commons Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28273-3958, to procure the technical data package. The NAICs code is 334511 and the PSC is 5342. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.

No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.
