Synopsis for the J&A

USAID/Nigeria intent to modify the Nigeria Agricultural Extension and Advisory Services contract number 72062020C00001 to extend the completion date from the current date of May 24, 2025, to November 30, 2026, and to increase the total estimated cost by $2,448,000.00.

The proposed contract modification will provide continued technical support to the Government of Nigeria (GoN) to integrate a more sustainable private sector extension delivery approach in Nigeria's agriculture and expand the private sector-led extension service model to the new FTF and Resilience zones of influence, including Nasarawa, Plateau, Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, and Zamfara.

With the proposed scope expansion, the activity will lay the critical foundational market system infrastructure for a broader food basket activity, improve agri-food systems, and inclusive agriculture-based economic growth.
