Portable Navaid Receiver Purchase

The 374 Contracting Squadron, Yokota AB, Japan, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Thales for replacement of two (2) Portable Navaid Receiver (PNR) Model 7020 required for calibrating and testing Yokota's Ground Radar Navigation Instrument Landing System for sustainment of 24/7 Air Traffic Operations. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSAL.

This notice of intent is to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 3204(a)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The anticipated award date is 26 September 2024. Again, this is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above including the company’s name, point of contact, address, phone number, UEI number, TAX ID, and CAGE code. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
