INTENT TO AWARD - Installation of Radio Communication System for Crownpoint Healthcare Facility Emergency Dept.

NOTICE OF INTENT to AWARD a SOLE SOURCE contract to Advanced Communications and Electronics, Inc for the installation a new Ambulance Radio Communications Systems for the Emergency Department at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes.

Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Service Unit Emergency Department intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), specific characteristics of radio communication system offered by proposed vendor is the only vendor who can furnish the requirements due to the range in distance of available vendor specific equipment and services, meeting the government’s needs for its location and satisfying compatibility/interoperability requirements of existing apparatuses of government radio systems and components.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334220 -- Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The objective of this sole source award to Advanced Communications and Electronics, Inc is for the installation a new Ambulance Radio Communications Systems for the Emergency Department at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico.

This notice of intent does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The Capability Statement must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.

If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
