Description

As published on SAM.gov.

SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the Aviation Support Facility (ASF) at Fort Knox, Kentucky. As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements:

HVAC: The United States Army has a brand name requirement to procure Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning (HVAC) chillers from Trane, Carrier, Daiken/McQuay, and York for CONUS, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico U.S. Army garrisons to support new construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of Army facilities. Headquarters, U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) has completed a Class Justification and Approval (J&A) for this requirement.

Fire Alarm: Monaco BTX-M Fire Alarm and Mass Notification Transceiver - The Fort Knox fire alarm monitoring center requires this type of transceiver because it is compatible with their operational system head end receiver so it can receive the fire alarm and mass notification signals.

Locks: Best Lock Keying System. Fort Knox uses Best Lock keying systems on its buildings across the installation. Best Lock keying system is the sole approved keying system by Fort Knox. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.

All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 1:00 PM ET on 27 February 2025 to Jesse.E.Scharlow@usace.army.mil.
