NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a single source contract to Precision Inc. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center proposes to procure AS-332-L1 Super Puma Helicopter Initial and Recurrent Qualification Training.
The acquisition will utilize single source procedures as Precision Inc is the only known source capable of meeting the FAA’s need for initial and recurrent pilot training for the AS-332-L1 Super Puma Helicopter. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA.
This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Precision Inc and is not available for full and open competition.
