The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a contract to ADB Safegate (ADB), Columbus, OH for acquisition of Runway Status Light (RWSL) System equipment to include DTHJ2RN0DMF00R0 Takeoff Hold Light (THL) Fixture-GEN 2 and DREJ2RN0DMF00R0 Runway Entrance Light (REL) Fixture- GEN 2 The contract was awarded as a one-time, fixed price contract.
ADB Safegate Americas LLC is the only manufacturer that builds light controlling equipment and fixtures that will ensure the FAA baseline is maintained and that will work with existing components. There are no other known companies that manufacture products that are “plug and play” compatible with existing ADB RWSL systems. ADB has no authorized distributors who provide these products.

A Notice of Intent to Single Source (6973GH-25-R-00049) was posted to the SAM.gov web site on December 23, 2024.
