Description
As published on SAM.gov.
NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE - EMAIL ONLY This is an FAA notice of intent to single-source a requirement to implement System Integration Labs (SIL) for Common Operating Picture (COP) applications with PureActiv (sic) software for US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Surveillance Systems Consolidated Tower & Surveillance Equipment (CTSE) program.
It is believed by the FAA that the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Puretech Systems, Inc., 2038 West Lone Cactus Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85027 (SAM Unique Identifier NUBZEKA2J789) is the only source that can directly and immediately perform this work due to proprietary nature of the software to be used. The first task of this total effort is urgent to the FAA.
This task entails the installation and configuration of needed PureActiv software to a SIL being implemented at the FAA's Logistics Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by April 19th, 2024. If not completed by this date, this could result in the FAA's inability to perform necessary integration testing of surveillance systems to support an expedited deployment schedule, thus potentially delaying deployment of systems needed to support kinetic law enforcement operations.
After resolving the most urgent need described above, the single source vendor will perform the following under this total effort: - Perform software installation and configuration services to a secondary SIL located at Douglas, AZ. - Installation services of the Pureactiv software to a non-operational cloud environment as a proof of concept. - Perform manually created alerts, modeling, and other system check events for these separate efforts.
The FAA intends to award the work described above to the single source vendor as a task order to current FAA contract with this vendor (FAA Contract: 6973GH-21-D-00056) under the contract's Over and Above, or Engineering Services line item(s). This work has been determined by the FAA to be within the current general scope of this contract, which is to procure and support PureActiv software products.
