In accordance with The FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), section 3.2.2.4, Single Source Selection, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis to Evans Consoles Incorporated, Inc. for up to 6 months if all options are exercised (three (3) month option period and three one-month option periods.), thru March 30, 2025. This sole source award will move and construct Slat Walls from one lab to another at the Mike Monroney Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
The slatwall is specifically designed to accommodate specialized Air Traffic Control equipment. The existing slatwall is being disassembled and transferred to the new location, and additional slatwall is being added to the new Lab. Therefore, it is crucial to the FAA to procure from the same vendor to ensure equipment compatibility and consistency. This announcement is for informational purpose only. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
