RFQ 693JF725Q000007 Vessel insurance validation

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration’s (MARAD) Office of Marine Financing (OMF) and the Office of Financial Approvals & Marine Insurance (MAR-770) has a need for continued verification of insurance requirements, providing advice and recommendations to mitigate risk and exposures, providing shipbuilders repair risk support, and providing any claims support as needed support for the financed vessels in its portfolio.

OMF is charged with managing the Federal Ship Financing Program, authorized by 46 U.S.C. Chapter 537 (“Title XI”). RFQ 693JF725Q00007, QASP and Pricing sheet are attached. RFQ closing date is 8/26/2025 at 2pm EST. Any questions must be submitted to durba.ray@dot.gov; cc bryant.fields.ctr@dot.gov by 8/22/2025 , 1pm EST and all proposals must be emailed to Durba Ray at durba.ray@dot.gov; cc bryant.fields.ctr@dot.gov prior to the close of the RFQ. It is a total small business set aside.

All Quoters must have an active SAM registered active account and must maintain during the life of the contract. Each Quoters SAM.gov account should show that they are small business under NAICS code 524210 and PSC code G008. It was posted previously as small business set aside and no SB response received. Therefore, RFQ for this requirement is now unrestricted. Due to time constraints no additional time for extension can be provided.

Amendment one is to extend the RFQ closing date to Monday, September 8, 2025, 1pm EST. Email your proposals in response to the RFQ prior to the close of the RFQ on Monday to durba.ray@dot.gov.
