Center Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) DRAFT SIR

This notice is to provide a Draft Screening Information Request (SIR) for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace (WJHTC) Center Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) procurement. The purpose of the draft SIR is to provide industry an early release of the SIR for review and to solicit industry feedback regarding the draft SIR. All SIR sections are still in draft form and subject to change.

Historical Service Call Data as well as Technical Exhibits that are separate attachments (i.e., not enclosed in the relevant PWS Section) will be provided with the final SIR. Responses to the draft SIR will be used for informational purposes only. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or for administrative costs incurred in preparing a response to the draft SIR.

Any costs associated with responding to the draft SIR are solely at the interested contractor’s expense. For questions about FAA’s acquisition policies, please visit https://fast.faa.gov, which provides the FAA’s AMS Policy and Guidance as well as provisions and clauses used by the FAA in its acquisitions. Questions regarding this draft SIR must be submitted, in writing via email, to the Contracting Officer using the attached Draft SIR Questions form.

Contractors are encouraged to submit all questions no later than 8:00 AM Eastern Time on 12 May 2025 for consideration by the FAA for the final SIR. Questions not incorporated in the final SIR may be addressed via amendment during the SIR Q&A phase.
