Project: ID BOUNDARY 5806, Riverside Road Improvements Project This solicitation is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work listed in the requirements section below. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Final plans and specifications are not available at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought must be received by email no later than the date specified in the response section.
This intent of this sources sought is for market research to determine contractors with the necessary experience and resources capable of performing this work. The primary objective of the proposed contract is to re?construct 4.5 miles of roadway, including widening the roadway from 22’ to 32’, raising the roadway 6-8’ through portions of the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge, lowering the roadway 4-6’along the Kootenai River levee, and paving with hot mix asphalt (HMA).
Safety improvements to include softening of horizontal curves and widening of shoulders for use by alternative modes of transportation. The project will include asphalt concrete paving, aggregate base, grading, drainage, MSE wall, guardrail, and bridge rail.
