GSA Next Generation Broker Contract Update This is an update to the special notice posted on April 17, 2024. The Office of Leasing Center for Broker Services is currently undergoing internal review of the draft solicitation for the next generation broker contract called GLS Max.
The GLS Max Draft Solicitation is earmarked for public comment on Jul 8, 2024. Some key features of GLS Max currently under consideration: A return to the Leasing Desk Guide, including Lease Acquisition Circulars and Leasing Alerts, as the principal source and guiding document for the Contractor. An emphasis on strategic management of GSA leasing using Portfolios of Work rather than individual project tasking.
Alignment of contractor responsibility with GSA’s Leasing Specialist role in the lease acquisition process. Advice and clarification of authorities, policies, technical and procedural guides, and administrative limitations governing lease acquisition. An emphasis on global project management by clarifying workflow approval points, and contractor/inherently governmental roles and responsibilities.
Additional services that further bifurcate the requirements development process and post award process allowing greater flexibility for the regions. Increased role of online tools, which may include AAAP and RSAP, on broker projects to enable and incentivize greater competition. Please stay tuned as we provide additional information.
If you would like to be included in subsequent communications on GLS Max, please stay tuned to www.sam.gov and please provide your name and contact information to this GLS Max Public Interest Form.
