Tora Tora Tora Airshow performance

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES The 97 Air Mobility Wing requires Commemorative Air force to perform Aerial Performance Display at Altus AFB, OK 73523. The 97 Contracting Squadron intends to make award to Commemorative Airforce (CAGE 06JG4). They are the only company that provides the long standing Tora Tora Tora act. They are based in Pearland Regional, TX, travel costs are greatly reduced when compared to trying to source multiple planes into a single act.

Most importantly, their safety record, longstanding success within the air show industry, and their experience with Altus AFB's prior Air Shows make "Tora, Tora, Tora" uniquely qualified. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.

Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.

A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source procurement. Capability statements are due on 27 November 2024 by 5:00pm CST.

Capability statements and supporting documentation provided after the due date listed above will not be reviewed. Please see attached Single Source Justification for further information.
