Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Actian Dataconnect Software Maintenance Support

Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR), Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Quantico, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award a purchase order to Actian Corporation (CAGE Code: 4AZL1) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

This procurement is to provide Actian Datacenter Software Maintenance Support for perpetual licenses with a support period of 12-months. The applicable NAICS Code is 513210- Software Publishers. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items. Therefore, the government intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis from Actian Corporation, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the software.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses shall be emailed to David Laster at david.laster@usmc.mil no later than 02 December 2023, 11:00 AM Eastern Time. Late responses will not be considered.
