Nexus Human Capital Management Modernization

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization intends to negotiate a sole source contract with KPMG LLP. A sole source Justification & Approval document is being coordinated and, upon approval, a copy of it will be posted here on SAM.gov to comply with the public display requirements of FAR 6.305. This effort is a follow-on requirement to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)’s Manpower and Personnel Directorate (J1).

DISA seeks to modernize the way that Human Resources (HR) - related information technology (IT) services are provided at the agency and transform them into a full lifecycle Human Capital Management System (HCMS).

HCMS will fully support DISA’s human capital and workforce development initiative, Workforce 2025, Office of Management and Budget’s Cloud Smart strategy, and Department of Defense (DoD)’s Software Modernization Strategy, emphasizing “the importance of commercial partnerships through the adoption of cloud.”
