Notice of Intent to Single Source Doble Sweep Frequency Response Alayzer, The Dalles Dam, The Dalles, OR

Notice Type: Notice of Intent to Award a Single Source Contract Synopsis: This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions." The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to award a single-source, firmfixed-price supply contract to Doble Engineering Company (Doble). The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase a single Sweep Frequesncy Response Analyzer, Model M5500.

The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(l) as implemented by FAR 13.106-l(b)(l) - Soliciting from a Single Source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government by submitting a capability statement that they have ability to supply the required components meeting the government's need. If no affirmative written responses are received by 10:30 AM Pacific Time on 18 April 2025, an award will be made without further notice.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
