Notice of Intent to Sole Source

Identification of the agency and the contracting activity USDA Forest Service Procurement & Property Service CSA #2, notice of intent to award sole source procurement. The nature and/or description of the action being approved. Award of a sole source contract for repairing 6 fuel injectors, 1 valve cover gasket, and a full engine service on water tender #7132. With the option to repair a cylinder head if deemed necessary. Contract will be a firm-fixed price.

A description of the supplies or services required to meet the agency’s needs (including the estimated value). Work includes replacement of 6 fuel injectors, 1 valve cover gasket, and a full engine service on a 2013 International 570 Maxxforce Engine. This repair shall include all parts, supplies, and labor to complete the service. Vendor will ensure the proper installation for safe operation of the vehicle at the completion of service.
