GEOINT Learning Through Academic Programs

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source modification to the existing Blanket purchase Agreement (BPA) contracts with the University of Missouri System (MU), Saint Louis University (SLU) and the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) to continue supporting the GEOINT Learning Through Academic Programs (GLAP).

This extension will enable NGA time to process a follow-on competition, award and support a transition period to ensure no disruption to the current support to NGA employees. The ordering period extension is anticipated to be for 6-month base and plus two 2 months options. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions and is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contract Specialist no later than 12:00 pm EST on 16 July 2025. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
