M4 Controller

The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Johnson Controls (JCI) San Antonio (cage code 4LLF0), 2241 Valwood Pkwy, 3660 Thousand Oaks, Ste. 2160San Antonio, TX 78247, for the purchase of M4 Controller with display and I/O expansion. JCI is the only contractor that can meet the needs of this requirement.

The proposed contract action is for purchase of the item in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability of responding to this requirement. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers.

However, all quotes/offers along with certified distributor documentation for the analyzer that is received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
