Patient Lift

The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Northeastern Markets Contracting Division (NM-CD), on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Baxter Hill-Rom Inc, One Baxter Parkway, Deerfield, Illinois 60015. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source for Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The Defense Health Agency intends to solicit and award a Sole Source Firm Fixed award to provide the LIKO Likorall 243 Lift Motor Package. This package includes:

the Likorall 243 ES, natural max 507 lbs with quick release and emergency stop cord, Transfer Motor Likorall ES, HandControl LR ES-6MTS, Battery Charger LR/MR, US/CA 24V/0.6A, Universal SlingBar 450, Weight Limit Decal, Damper, Reference Guide, Hook for SlingBar, Parking Panel 600 LR/MR, and a Bracket for Charger. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.

Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
