Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Tinker AFB, 10th Flight Test Squadron Operations Building

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, has an upcoming requirement for the construction of a Squadron Operations Building at Tinker AFB. Included in the requirement is a brand-name sole source specification for the following elements: The sprinker system is proposed for brand name sole sourcing to Tyco.

The Tyco Series DS-3 Dry-Type Sprinklers 11.2K Horizontal Sidewall Standard Response, Extended Coverage system is the only viable option for 16 feet throw under canopy that satisfies the NFPA and UFC 3-600-1 requirements. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposal; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.

All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirements described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) on 22 February 2024.
