Notification of the SEC’s intent to award a single source purchase order for Abby Maintenance and Upgrade Assurance

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to Government Acquisitions, Inc., Inc. for Abby FineReader Engine version 12 CLI for Linux Enterprise software maintenance and upgrade assurance.

The Contracting Officer has reviewed the requirement and determined that Government Acquisitions, Inc. is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) because no other sources have been identified that can provide software maintenance & upgrade assurance required by the SEC. The SEC intends to award a purchase order to Government Acquisitions, Inc. on or about August 30, 2024. The total award value of the purchase order will be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.

The anticipated period of performance is a Base Period of 12 months and four Option Periods of 12 months each. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
