Notice of Intent: Sole Source Award **THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION** The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) which permits contracting without full and open competition when only one source is reasonably available.

The sole source award will be to OPEX Corp, (UEI# TPUHSANK6X84) at 305 Commerce Drive, Moorestown, New Jersey 08057 for maintenance on three (3) OPEX Omation 206 mail opener machines. This will be a firm fixed price, open market purchase order for one (1) 12-month Base Year and four (4) 12-month Option Years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of $34 million.

The current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) is 2025-05 with the effective date of 08/07/2025. The anticipated award date is September 24, 2025. Interested sources may identify their interest by submitting their capability no later than 12 noon CST, September 10, 2025. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
