Berla Corporation – iVe Toolkit Software NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source contract to Berla Corporation (iVe Toolkit Software), under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The contractor shall provide licenses/subscriptions for the iVe Software for a period of one base year and two option years.

Berla is the sole provider of the iVe Toolkit software subscriptions and license for legal use of this product can only be obtained through Berla Corporation and there are no authorized resellers.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may identify their interests and/or capabilities statement to this requirement by contacting the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer via email at Elizabeth.Y.Hicks@irs.gov and JW.R.Terry@irs.gov, no later than 12:00 PM (eastern) 5 August 2024. Only emailed responses will be considered.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided.

No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement.
