Notice of Intent to Sole Source - March ARB KC-46 Two-Bay Hangar Construction

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, has an upcoming requirement for the construction of a KC-46 Two-Bay Hangar at March Air Reserve Base (ARB), California. Included in the requirement for the KC-46 Two-Bay Hangar is a brand-name sole source specification for the following elements: The fire alarm and detection system are proposed for brand name sole sourcing to Monaco Enterprises.

March ARB uses a networked fire alarm and detection system for their entire installation which is provided by Monaco Enterprises. Included in this requirement is one (1) Monaco Brand Transceiver and two (2) Monaco Brand Antennas. No other manufacturer/system can communicate with the Monaco Enterprises equipment.

This is not a solicitation for competitive proposal; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirements described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considred by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on 25 January 2024 to marcel.d.hull@usace.army.mil
