LaCroix Insulate Fire Garage

THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This is a notice of intent to award a competitive BPA Call Order against the Forest Service – Region 9 Facilities Blanket Purchase Agreements. (Only contractors with an active BPA for the respective zone will be eligible for this call order.) Work includes but is not limited to:

The LaCroix Ranger District within the Superior National Forests has a need for modifying, insulating and heating the district fire engine garage. The current garage space is unheated, and the overhead door is too small to park their fire engine safely. During cold weather the engine is moved to a different location to protect from freezing. A need has been identified to keep the fire engine at the LaCroix Ranger District office year-round in a heated space so that the engine is accessible and so that maintenance can be performed on the engine when necessary.
