Notification of Sole Source Procurement. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to limit sources to Pike | Hueber-Breuer Joint Venture (PHB) as the contractor to provide emergency remediation and restoration to areas impacted by a steam leak in the Outpatient Clinic (Building 2) on the VA Canandaigua Medical Center campus.

A stand-alone contract will not be issued by the Government to PHB for this work, they will be contracted vis Modification to the existing Phase 2 construction contract (W912QR20C0001. PHB is currently completing construction renovation efforts in multiple buildings across the VA Canandaigua campus. The emergency remediation and restoration effort is required to return the Outpatient Clinic to full functionality.

The steam leak in the building is currently impacting multiple units of the facility and has altered the level of service available within the facility. Utilizing PHB for the remediation and restoration is the most advantageous method for achieving the timely return to full function. PHB's current work on the campus means that they have familiarity with the impacted areas and have relationships with all manner of subcontractor that would be needed to complete the work.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Time on 13 August 2024 to Michael.D.Hutchens@usace.army.mil. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
