Notice of Intent to Sole Source- Stryker Maintenance Services

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Stryker Sales, LLC, 3800 East Centre Ave, Portage MI 49009. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This requirement is to provide an OEM approved maintenance contract which provides the agency with comprehensive repair and preventative maintenance services.

The contract will allow for continual operation of agency owned Stryker Power Stretchers (quantity of 4), Stryker Stair Chairs (quantity of 3), Stryker Load Systems (quantity of 3) and LifePak 15 Cardiac Monitors, (quantity of 7). This equipment is a critical part of the agency’s ability to provide its mandated ALS services to the installation. Per manufacturer’s recommendations, this equipment must be serviced annually to ensure continued functionality.

Services are to be performed on site by OEM certified technicians. These services are in support of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort Fire and Emergency Services, Beaufort, SC 29904. Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811210 with a size standard of $34 million. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
