Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Technology Design PS45 Pocket Scan

THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) SUBPART 5.2 “SYNOPSES OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTIONS” Response date is 7 April 2025 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (NWP) intends to negotiate/award a firm-fixed price (FFP) supply, single source procurement to Stroud Systems, Inc., for one (1) TD PS45 Pocket Scan.

REASON FOR SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(i), Soliciting from a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The purpose of this requirement is to furnish a TD PS45 Pocket Scan to the Welding and Metallurgy Technical Center of Expertise Section for non-destructive testing. 1. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quote to the contracting officer before the notice end date. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
