Notice of Intent - Brand Name only (MAGNET AXIOM)

The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Acquisitions, on behalf of Homeland Security Investigations, intends to acquire Magnet Forensics’ AXIOM forensic software and associated training as a brand name only requirement under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule.

This document serves as a Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 8.405?6(a)(1)(C), “Items peculiar to one manufacturer (e.g., a particular brand?name, product, or a feature of a product).” Magnet AXIOM has been determined to be the only product that meets HSI’s specific operational and technical requirements for digital forensics. This requirement is designated Law Enforcement Sensitive.

Accordingly, once the order is awarded, only a redacted Justification and Approval will be posted in accordance with applicable FAR requirements. Questions or concerns regarding this notice should be directed to the primary point of contact.
