Notice of Intent to Sole Source Solventum KCI Wound ActiV.A.C. and Canister

The Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 04 Office intends to negotiate a sole source under the authority of FAR 12.106-1 (Limiting Sources) for Wilkes-Barre VAMC Solventum/KCI USA ActiV.A.C System and Canister distributed by KCI USA located at 12930 W INTERSTATE 10, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS 78249. The sole source justification for this action is attached. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used, and the resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price FSS order.

This special notice serves as notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals and is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
