Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This notice announces the intent by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC), Combat Casualty Care Research Program (CCCRP) to award a sole source contract to the University of Pittsburgh – Of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education. Under the authority of 10 United States Code 3204(a)(1) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The USAMRDC, CCCRP requires advancement of the product development of a semi closed-loop cardiovascular resuscitation control system.
