INDUSTRY DAY SITE VISIT EGLIN OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES (EOMS) II THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. This notification is issued to for the purpose of communicating to industry that a site visit has been scheduled for this requirement. Prospective offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance.

THIS WILL BE THE ONLY SITE VIST FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. The site visit is strictly voluntary and will not affect any firm’s ability to submit an offer if, or when, a solicitation is released. Foreign participation will not be authorized if, or when, a solicitation is released. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of site visit attendance.

BACKGROUND: The purpose of the EOMS II Program is to provide operation and maintenance services in support of research and development, test and evaluation, and training missions involving military aerospace equipment and military weapons. The new EOMS II procurement is for services including operation, maintenance, and improvement of facilities, equipment, and instrumentation that support mission preparation, design, execution, and data production.

Major support areas include General Support Services, Range Support Services, Range Instrumentation Systems, Explosive Test Facilities, and Major Ground Test Facilities (MGTFs). While most test and training activities will occur at Eglin AFB, some may require support at other locations both inside and outside the continental United States.

An Industry Day Site Visits will be held at Eglin AFB, FL, the 28th – 29th of October 2024. Registration will be held from 0700 – 0750 on 28 October at The Enlisted Hall located at 1760 Memorial Trail, Eglin AFB, FL 32548. Facility tours will be all day on the 28th of October and all day on the 29th of October. Companies interested in attending are required provide the information below to reserve a spot. Participation in the site visit is limited to two representatives per company.

Registration information should be received by 1600 CST, 7 October 2024. Due to the processing time required for base access, requests for attendance received after this date will not be accepted. The following information is required via DOD Safe Site (https://safe.apps.mil/) for base access: READ BEFORE SUBMITTING A VISITOR REQUEST 1. Visitor’s Full Name exactly as it appears on Driver’s License 2. Visitor’s Social Security Number (SSN), Date of Birth, Driver’s License or State ID Number and State of issuance.

Indicate in your request if you already have base access via a military ID and/or CAC card so we do not have to process a visitor request to reduce the list provided to security forces. Further details will be provided several days prior to Industry Day.
