Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209 is looking for interested party who wishes to submit an offer to supply and install digital two-way handheld radios, base station and repeater system and radio accessories.
SCOPE The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, and any other items necessary to provide two-way programable digital radios, deliver and install base station, repeater system (receiver, transmitter, and antenna(s)) and ensure radios transmit and receive in within the boundaries of the cemetery grounds and buildings.
1. Provide sixty (60) two-way programable digital radios with chargers and belt clips 2. Provide one (1) digital base station 3. Provide two (2) digital repeater systems 4. Provide two (2) digital repeater antenna 5. Provide 10 spare handheld radio batteries 6. Provide 10 spare handheld radio antennas 7. Provide 10 spare belt clips battery charges SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Two-way programable digital radios that can transmit and receive over a two-mile radius, with at least two channels.
Can operate if submerged in water, dust proof, digital, slim, and durable, even in rugged environments. Two repeaters and supporting antennas (including pole/tower). Replaceable parts support (knob, antennas, belt clips, batteries). Repair and/or replacement support. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES Radio battery life must last longer than 12 hour of use between charging. Meet or exceed IP54 Rated - Dustproof and splashproof. Charging stations able to turn off when battery is fully charged. OPERATING CONSTRAINTS The current Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery approved radio frequencies:
