36C260-24-AP-3029 663-319 AE Reno & Expand Urgent Care B1 - SPOKANE MINOR DESIGN QUESTIONS RECEIVED TO DATE Question 1 - I don t see a building envelope consultant on the list. Given that this is a expansion to an existing building envelope consulting with be important. Are you expecting an envelope consultant to be a part of the key positions that need to be filled? Answer Respond to the Request as written.
Question 2 - In order to include the required information for Factors 3, 4, 5, and 6 on pages 6-7 in the Pre-solicitation notice and all key position disciplines identified, we request that you expand the page requirements to 50 total pages. Answer Page count will remain at 35 total pages. Please note that any PPQs will not be counted towards the page limitations for this submission. Question 3 - Will the Mann-Grandstaff Urgent Care Clinic include any ICU s or Operating rooms?
Answer All requirements for the UCC can be found at https://www.cfm.va.gov/til/. Additionally, an UC Design Guide can be found in the TIL under PG-18-12, where you ll find both general planning guidance for Urgent Care and detailed guidance to the various sizes and complexities of UCs that exist currently within VA. The design standards in the TIL have been developed to balance the minimum effective standards and industry best practices.
Question 4 - Is it possible to schedule a site visit for the proposed new clinic area and tour the existing urgent care facility? Answer In accordance with our SF330 request a site visit will only be arranged with the highest rated firm that is selected in accordance with the RFP. We are not at that stage of the requirement yet and cannot arrange for a site visit at this stage. Question 5 - Continuous facility operation requirement may mean project permit/construction phasing. Is this anticipated by the VAMC?
Answer Yes. Question 6 - Has there been any additional discussion regarding a potential covered drop-off area? Answer No additional discussions have taken place. Please note that PSRDM compliance is required as well. Question 7 - Is there any information available at this time regarding the space program for the addition or the types of rooms to be renovated on the ground floor?
