AVID Media Composer Workstation Upgrades Pre-Solicitation Notice

Question 1: Can you please confirm what contract you would like this quote under ? (sic)

Answer 1: This is a request for quotation, if you feel your firm can meet the terms of the RFQ, submit your best value proposal.

Question 2: The last addendum referenced a change sole source to small business, which did not require any input from me. What am I missing on this?

Answer 2: Per the terms of the RFQ this is an SDVOSB Set-Aside; Brand Name Only. Avid components have been removed from the line items. Vendors must provide Letters of Authorization for all proposed solutions.

Question 3: As (Vendor name omitted) is not an authorized reseller for Avid Media, therefore we will not be sending a formal response and will No Bid Notice ID 36C77624Q00236.

Answer 3: All Avid Line Items are removed. Vendors must still provide Letters of Authorization for all components from the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This is to meet the regulations on Grey Market Items.
