The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) RFO 6.103-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Cepheid. Cepheid is the only authorized provider of service for GenXpert systems implemented within the VISN 23 Health Care System. The Xpert system is proprietary and may only be serviced by Cepheid. The place of performance is for the Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 23 Healthcare Systems.
