SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Health Care for Homeless Veterans (Contract Emergency Residential Services Beds) supporting the Central Iowa VA Health Care System, Des Moines IA VA Hospital, 3600 30th Street, Des Moines IA 50310. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201 in order to conduct market research. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a guarantee to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for the information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.

Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. This announcement is based on the best information available at this time and is subject to future amendment. No questions will be answered in response to this notice. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 624229 Other Community Housing Services, Small Business Size Standard $19.0 Million.

OVERVIEW: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23, and Central Iowa VA Health Care System anticipate a requirement for contract with a firm who has the qualifications, experience and expertise in providing Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Services to members serviced by the Des Moines IA VA Hospital. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain interest from contractors who would be capable of providing the required services.

Firm shall provide all labor, supervision, housing, material, and supplies necessary to provide Healthcare for Homeless Veterans and Emergency Residential Services beds.

The contractor s facility shall be no further than fifteen (15) miles from the Des Moines IA VA hospital located at 3600 30th Street, Des Moines IA 50310. Services shall be provided at the vendor transitional residential housing site located within Polk County IA with nearby access to the Des Moines DART bus line and/or other transportation services provided or coordinated by the contractor.
