Proposals are NOT being requested, nor accepted at this time.

Responses are being requested from Small Businesses. ** Purpose: The Black Hills VA Health Care System located in Hot Springs, South Dakota is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide Fire System Assessment (inspecting, leak testing, marking failed areas, and creating reports) with a 30 calendar days period of performance. This is a Sources Sought Notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement.

The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation.

Bonding: Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds are not anticipated to be required. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code:

541350 and Size Standard: Less than $11,500,00.00.

Magnitude of Construction: Less than $25,000.00.

Cost Reimbursement: Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this SSN, nor any follow-up information requests.

Solicitation: At this time, VHA NCO 23 anticipates issuing a competitive Request for Quotes (RFQ) around August 2025; and awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract.
