SPECIAL Endoeye Flex 10 Videoscope

This is a Notice of Intent published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of a sole source firm fixed price contract to the following contractor in support of a needed LTF-S190-10: Endoeye Flex 10 Videoscope to support the Fargo VA Health Care System.

SAM: FLWQVLFLMEL3 3500 Corporate Parkway PO Box 610 Center Valley, PA 18034, United States This is done under authority of 41 CFR Part 101-25 Subpart 101-26.3, as implemented by FAR 8.002: Agencies shall satisfy requirements for supplies and services from or through the mandatory government sources and publications. This is not a request for competitive quotes.

Market research revealed that Olympus America, Inc. holds current FSS Contract 36F79721D0168 which contains the much needed replacement equipment to support the Fargo VA Healthcare System. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments.

While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement, including documentation from the proprietary rights holder Olympus America, Inc. that such contractor could provide this service as an authorized reseller, authorized dealer or third party.
