REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT for Hologic Fluent Management System, Brand-Name or Equal DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS, VISN 23 Source Sought: The VA is seeking business sources qualified to provide some, or all, of the items listed below as Brand Name or Equal. This is NOT a solicitation.

1. Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address.

2. State if your firm distributes the Brand Name items, or Equal items.

3. SAM UEI number.

4. NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code that your firm uses for surgical and medical equipment manufacturing.

5. State if your firm is a large business, small business, service-disabled-veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, HUB zone 8(a), women-owned small business or a small disadvantaged business.

6. State if your firm has the required items on Schedule (FSS, GSA, SEWP, other ).

7. Provide a letter from the manufacturer verifying your firm is an authorized distributor.

8. Provide the country of origin for each of the required items.

Fluent Untangle Fluid Management System by Hologic: Must have dual peristaltic pumps Must have touchscreen Must have FloPak cartriges Must require single waste bags Must have advanced pressure control accurate fluid deficit readings Must have visual and audible alerts Unique characteristics that limit availability to only Brand Name, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used: Hologic brand is the only fluid management system on the market with dual peristaltic pumps, allowing for precise pressure control within the cavity by keeping both inflow and outflow consistent even while resecting tissue. In turn, an average of 70% less fluid is used which is safer for patients and allows more complex surgeries to be complete at once.
